About InsideOutWe believe there’s more in everyone than you think. InsideOut helps young adults discover who they are, what matters to them, and how to live by it with conviction.
The founders
-

Brenda Sarbach (1974)
Co-founder of InsideOut. Coach and trainer at Sarbach bedrijfstrainingen.
In my early twenties I found my purpose. Since then I’ve had the privilege, every day, of seeing people connect with their own love and strength. My dream is a school subject where you learn who you are at your core. When you experience early on that you’re good as you are, you fulfil your full potential. You create a rich life, and you are a gift to the people around you. -

Michel Kobus (1985)
Co-founder of InsideOut. Coach and entrepreneur behind YummyGums and Marsmedia.
When you know from a young age what drives you, you make choices from strength rather than fear. That’s what I wish for every young adult: not discovering what you really want after years of searching, but now. When people develop their emotional intelligence, they become calmer, sharper and more authentic. I’m glad to contribute to that.
The coaches
Our coaches don’t just know the tools from a book: they use them every day in their own lives, work and relationships. Brenda trains every coach herself and supervises every programme. Most of them don’t come from a coaching background, and that’s exactly their strength: they’re in the thick of real life, as an HR manager, entrepreneur, pilot or student. They know what they’re talking about, because they’ve been through the same experience as the participants. Below, the coaches of the current programme introduce themselves.
-

Marlon Ranson - van den Berg (1981)
HR manager.
Real growth begins when you give yourself room to feel what’s going on inside you. I’ve come to understand myself better and to be kinder to myself. That’s what I wish for young people too: discovering who they are, what they feel and what suits them.
-

Rutger Tideman (1986)
Entrepreneur.
I’ve managed to create a life I never used to dare dream of. I often thought: if only I’d had these tools sooner. That’s what motivates me to help the younger generation create the life of their dreams.
-

Lotte Schmidt (1990)
Production manager and filmmaker.
It’s wonderful to be in touch with my feelings and aware of what I think and feel. I’d long dreamed of contributing to other people’s growth, and I’m grateful that I get to witness the participants’ development. Together we inspire each other to make the most of our lives.
-

Pieter Sutorius (1993)
Education Policy Adviser at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
There’s nothing I love more than seeing people discover and use their full potential. As a coach I’m glad to help with that: with curiosity and openness, in real connection with the other person and with myself.
-

Rosalie Tideman (1989)
Body positivity ambassador.
For a long time I thought my body had to meet the beauty ideal for me to be worth something. I discovered that my body and how it looks say nothing about how valuable or beautiful I am. When I accepted myself as I am, there was room for calm and self-confidence. That’s what I wish for everyone: that you stop judging yourself on the outside, and see who you really are.
-

Britt Untersalmberger (2001)
Marketing and communications specialist.
I wish for everyone to feel free, to be in touch with themselves and the people around them, to do what makes them happy, and to create a life full of moments of joy.
-

Thalia Hesselink (1997)
Jewellery designer.
I wish everyone self-confidence: that you always see the potential in yourself, and that you enjoy everything life has to offer. I’m glad to contribute to that.
-

Roos Burlage (2005)
Business Economics student.
When I was twelve, I discovered at InsideOut that I’m good as I am. That helped me so much in the years that followed. Now I see the same thing happening for the people on the programme. There’s nothing more beautiful than that.
-

Boaz Reisel (1987)
Pilot.
Not everyone has learned to see their own worth. So we doubt ourselves and hold ourselves back, often without realising it. I love helping people trust themselves again, so they can take on the adventure of life without having to prove anything.
-

Eline van Santvoord (1994)
Resource planner. Confidential adviser.
I believe everyone deserves to get to know themselves and to believe in themselves. Sometimes a single conversation, or one person who really listens to you, makes all the difference. When you know you’re good as you are, you can make choices from love and trust.
