InsideOut Nederland handles your personal data with care. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, why we do so and what your rights are.

Who are we?

What data do we collect?

When you sign up for an information evening or an introductory chat, we ask for your name, email address and age. If you wish, you can also give your phone number and ask a question.

Why do we collect this data?

We use your data to send you information about the information evening, such as the location. We also use it to contact you for a personal chat or to answer your question. We ask for your age because the MDT subsidy makes taking part free for anyone aged 30 or under.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by filling in the form. You can withdraw that consent at any time.

If you are over 30 and leave your details using the ‘Over 30?’ form, we ask for your name and email address. If you wish, you can also give your phone number and tell us what you would like to work on. We use this data to contact you personally and to let you know when a programme for adults starts. We keep it until that programme starts, and for no longer than 24 months. Would you like us to delete your data sooner? Email info@goinsideout.nl.

How long do we keep your data?

If you take part in the programme, we keep your data for as long as necessary for the programme and for accounting for the MDT subsidy. After that, we delete it. If you do not take part in the programme, we delete your data no later than 12 months after the information evening or the chat.

Who do we share your data with?

We never sell your data and do not share it with others for their own purposes. If you take part in the programme, we share the data needed to account for the MDT subsidy with the body that provides the subsidy. We do use services from other parties to make our website and email work: Squarespace for the website and forms, and Google for email. These parties process your data only on our behalf. Squarespace may store data outside the European Union. In that case, the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission apply.

Cookies

Our website uses functional cookies that are needed for the site to work properly. Squarespace may also place analytical cookies to keep track of visitor numbers. You can switch off or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can also object to the use of your data or withdraw your consent. To do so, send an email to info@goinsideout.nl. We will respond within four weeks.

Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your data against loss and unauthorised use. Only people at InsideOut who need your data for their work have access to it.

Complaints

Do you have a complaint about how we handle your data? Let us know at info@goinsideout.nl. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
